With 65 years experience in lapping, Kemet International provide a complete lapping process for all your surface finishing needs.
We have the knowledge to advise you on the correct lapping machine for your specific application. Our machines range from 380mm (15") diameter to over 3.0m (120") and we can also design and build specialist lapping and polishing machines to meet your individual needs.
To compliment our lapping and polishing equipment we offer a comprehensive range of diamond abrasives: diamond slurry, liquid diamond, diamond suspension, diamond paste and diamond compound, as well as conventional abrasive powders and lapping pastes (silicon carbide, aluminium oxide). We also offer the widest range of lapping plates, flatness measuring equipment and polishing pads.
We offer free test facilities to develop specific processes for customer's components together with reports, recommendations and demonstrations to ensure that you have the best lapping package for your components.
We also offer training, either at your site or in our state of the art lapping department in the UK.
