Training

Tailor-made training courses are delivered regularly in our Technical Centre or at customers' premises. We have trained hundreds of people throught out the world in the correct way to lap their parts.

 These courses are limited to 4 people so your specific needs and requirements receive our full attention. The course covers a mixture of theory and practical, but most time is spent getting "hands-on" experience.

Typical subjects covered are:

•  Theory of Lapping and Polishing

•  Setting Up and Operating Machines

•  Flatness Control and Measurement

•  Types of Abrasive

•  Lapping Plate Types

•  Workholding Methods

•  Product Cleaning and Inspection.

On completion of a course, participants are awarded a certificate, stating date and subjects covered.
